Hazel Dowd started in miniatures in Oct 1986, she has exhibited at dolls house fairs in the United Kingdom and exhibits at fairs in Milan, Holland and Germany.

Hazel also started several dolls house clubs to help people interested in the hobby become more involved. Hazel also started minis4all an internet dolls house group in Jan 2000, which has become very well known and has members from all over the world.
